In private practice since 1972, founding attorney Tom Guelzow serves clients in Wisconsin and throughout the United States. Certified in civil trial advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, Tom is one of Wisconsin's most respected trial lawyers. He has been repeatedly included in Wisconsin Super Lawyers lists from 2007 to the present. In addition to having held many senior leadership positions with state and national legal associations, Tom Guelzow has received numerous teaching appointments at the University of Wisconsin Law School and Marquette University Law School. He is frequently asked to present educational seminars for other lawyers through the Wisconsin State Bar Association and the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers.
Attorney Michelle Achterberg has been in the legal profession for more than 14 years and serves clients throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. Michelle received her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she enjoyed participating in moot court and trial competition. Prior to law school, Michelle obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and her Paralegal Certificate from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Whether it be a personal injury, family matter or employment issue, Michelle's dedication and personal attention provides significant comfort to her clients in distress.
